cheater
How am i supposed to use the costum range? i cant enter a number Edited February 12, 2017 by Joel Bodenmann Improving topic title
Joel Bodenmann
We just checked and it works well. I assume you didn't see that the first field is filled with a space. You can only enter one character in the filter range input fields. You have to delete the space that is in the first field before you can enter a new one You might want to use the offline font converter if you want to have the ability to use multiple filter ranges. cheater
and where can i found this offline converter? i was on the wiki page that linked me to that online converter. when i type in " " to "²" it does not include äöü Edited February 12, 2017 by cheater
Joel Bodenmann
Did you enable UTF-8 Support? Did you ensure that your source file is properly encoded? Certain IDEs like to change the encoding of the source files.

Joel Bodenmann
Have you tried displaying the characters "manually"? Eg. by calling something like this: gdispDrawString(..., "Löwen, Bären, Vögel und Käfer sind Tiere", ...)
cheater
No, that does not work!
Joel Bodenmann
Are you absolutely sure that you set the range of the font converter correctly to include those umlauts? Did you ensure that you have your file encoded as UTF8 and that that UTF8 support has been enabled in your config file? If you keep having problems after checking those things above, please attach your converted font file as well as your source font file to your next forum post. inmarket
Also compare and contrast it with the demos/modules/gdisp/fonts_cryllic demo program.
